How we collect, use, and protect personal information.
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Trinity Consulting & Analytics Inc. ("Trinity," "we," "us") provides analytics and operational consulting services to casino operators. This policy explains how we handle personal information in the course of our business, in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation, including Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Information We Collect
Contact and inquiry information
- Name, business email, phone number, and organization when you contact us or request a proposal
- The content of your message and any details you choose to share about your operation
Client engagement information
- Business contacts and personnel details needed to deliver an engagement
- Operational and financial data provided by the client for analysis
Casino and player data handled during engagements
In the course of an engagement, a client may provide data sets that include information about their patrons. For that data we act as a service provider (processor) under the applicable provincial privacy law — for Alberta operators, Alberta's PIPA — handling it only on the client's instructions and only for the purposes set out in the applicable service agreement. The client remains the party responsible for that data; our handling of it is governed by the engagement agreement, not by this website policy.
Website information
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) and aggregated usage collected when you visit this site
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries and prepare proposals
- To deliver and support the consulting and analytics services you engage us for
- To operate, secure, and improve this website
- To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, or for a purpose you would reasonably consider consistent with that, unless we obtain your consent or the law permits it.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information.
- Service providers. We may share information with trusted providers who help us operate — for example cloud hosting, email, and our own analytics platform, Trinytics (operated by Trinytics Technologies Inc.). Providers are bound by confidentiality and may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or a valid request from a regulator, and to protect our rights or safety.
- Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
4. Data Security
We apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where applicable, and limiting access to those who need it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. Data provided for a client engagement is retained and returned or disposed of in accordance with the applicable service agreement.
6. Your Rights
Subject to legal limits, you may:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information, where applicable
To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. We respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
